We build AI. Carefully.
Wave AI is an independent AI safety and development lab. We build our own models, try hard to break them, and release only what we'd trust ourselves.
How we work
Build it. Break it. Only then ship it.
We build our own
Wave AI trains and builds its models in-house, so we understand exactly how they behave and own the responsibility for it.
We try to break them
Before anyone uses what we make, we red-team it: probing where it fails, where it's wrong, and where it could do harm.
Then we release
A model leaves the lab when it passes our testing, not when a date on a slide says so. We'd rather ship late than ship something we can't stand behind.
Our first model
Wave-1
A conversational AI. Ask it things; it answers, and when it doesn't know, it tells you instead of guessing. It passed our red-team testing, and now it's live: free to use, right in your browser.
In the chat
Built for real work.
Wave-1 lives in a full chat app, not a demo box. Everything below works today, free, in your browser.
Web search
Ask about something current and Wave-1 can search the web, then answer with sources you can check.
Memory
Tell it to remember how you like to work. Notes stay in your browser and shape every chat.
Real code
Clean, formatted code blocks with one-click copy, ready to paste into your project.
English and Arabic
The whole experience, from this site to the chat itself, speaks both.
No account needed
Open the page and start. No signup, no install, no card.
Works everywhere
Designed for your phone as much as your desktop. Your chats stay on your device.
of jailbreak attempts blocked in our red-team testing, with none of the ordinary requests wrongly refused.
Safety
Safety is the product.
Every message to Wave-1 passes Wave Guard, our safety screen, before the model answers. It reads hidden and encoded payloads, treats user text as data rather than commands, and refuses harm no matter how a request is dressed up.
The date moves. The bar doesn't.
Every Wave model earns its release. Wave-1 shipped when it held every safety line we could throw at it, not a day before.
